Mosaic Workshop

The name of this piece is: “Woman With Turquoise Bracelet” and was created by Helen Bruton.
Today I went to a fabulous event hosted by the University of California’s Education Department in Irvine. We learned about the art of the California Bruton sisters who were ahead of their time and created the path towards modernism and abstraction. Inspired by their work, we then designed our little work of art. Under the guidance of Beatriz Jaramillo, a Colombian artist who works in LA.
