Poser
Today darren decided to put up the awning. That wasn’t his best decision. Putting up an awning on your own is hard at the best of times, putting one up when it’s windy is madness. For the first hour there was a lot of cursing, appalling swear words, kicking things that were laying on the floor and a blood pressure shooting through the roof.
At one point he was going to pack it all away, the wind was just blowing too hard to get any of the poles to stay in their place. He sat down, took a photo of the awning hanging down from caravan and sent it to his brother, with text underneath saying he wish he’d never started this. Now his brother works all over the country, darren had no idea where he was and wasn’t asking for help but just sharing his frustrations. A few minutes later he got a reply, amazingly his brother was working at Boston spa, about 9 miles away and would be free within the hour if he needed help.
To cut a long story short, the awning is up, in fairness darren did persevere and had got the awning upright with most of poles in place but did appreciate the help in finishing it off as he’d had enough of it by this point.
