Finding the Force

Well I made up for my sensible breakfast yesterday by completely pigging out this morning. It was a good idea too after a 30 minute round trip to Aira Force -seventy foot waterfall near Ullswater- turned into a 2 hour trek around the area as we took 2 wrong turns.
Scenic though, and worth it when we finally got to the fall.

Before that we'd already been to Wray Castle in the morning. Then it was back down to Ambleside for lunch at the Apple Pie and a relaxing stroll around Tarn Hows before finally heading home.
