Bird on a wire............

This little guy was spoilt for choice when he stopped by for a bite to eat.
Feeders with peanuts, sunflower seeds, nijer seed and wild bird food were all on offer.
He actually didn't take anything from the feeders, instead he flitted amongst the plants in the garden and then checked out our window sills, eaves and guttering presumably hunting for "Live food".
He'll have to be on his guard, the Sparrowhawk has been putting in lots of appearances over the last week, successfully taking Starlings and Goldfinches from just outside the conservatory window, it must have young of it's own to feed.
Shame he isn't partial to Feral Pigeon........!!
