Facial Recognition

We made it to Edinburgh and we were seated awaiting the presentation.

As soon as the speaker stood up, I recognised him. The name Graeme Cruickshank rang a very distant bell and when he mentioned Alyth, it was the all the information I needed.

The last time I met Graeme was nearly 50 years ago.

Graeme’s presentation culminated with the ‘decoding’ of this Pictish Stone at Aberlemno Church.  This stone records the defeat of the Angles by The Picts and is a major event which beings the formation of Scotland.
