Light blues

We watched the University Boat Race this afternoon, and Cambridge, the light blues, won both the men’s race and all the other races on the day. When I was at school the Boat Race was of enormous interest and we all chose a university to support. I was always Cambridge (I don’t know why!) and made a light blue woollen favour to wear on the day. Such enthusiasm! How many young people of today are even aware of the boat race?
It is still cold and dreary. I didn’t stay outside for long when I went out to get my photo.
