Sad

We had a family outing to Springs to tidy up Granny Arnott’s grave.

Our journey there was pretty uneventful, despite a drive through downtown Springs that is looking decidedly seedy. Our approach to the graveyard was surprising as there is a new waste dump, just meters away. It should have prepared us for what we actually found, but sadly the two lane paths within the graveyard are now less than one, and the growth amongst the headstones so bad we didn’t even leave the car.

We might try again in winter when the grass will have died back, but maybe not.

Shiv enjoyed the outing though.
