Lion's Tooth
Most of the German names for the common dandelion refer to its urinary effects if digested:
Bettnässer, Bettpisser, Bettschisser, Bettseecher, Bettsoicher, Bumbein, Bumbaum, Hundeblume, Hundsblume, Kuhblume, Moadogga, Mühlenbuschen, Pissblume (Dutch: pissebloem), Pisser, Pissnelke, Pusteblume, Rahmstock, Ringelstock, in Switzerland Chrottepösch(e), Weihfäcke (Federn einer Weihe), Milchblueme or Söiblueme, in French pissenlit, Maistöckel connected to it blooming in May.
In April/May our area will turn yellow with the blooms. It's the main crop for beekeepers in much of Bavaria.
