Chiffchaff

I met this enchanting little character, rather high up a tree in the reserve, preening for all s/he was worth.  It's been a pretty day and goodness the sun has been welcome.  I walked round twice, carefully avoiding the swan who seems to have taken up residence in the middle of one of the paths.  Another is building her nest in the middle of a bog - strange choices they do make.

This afternoon K and I went back to the dentist - always a joy ;(  After which I picked up Otherlands, started reading and fell asleep.  Rather a nice way to spend the afternoon.
