Tapestry of flowers

I have a number of beautiful tapestries beautifully made by my late mother-in-law.. This one hangs in my study. I'm not aware of the popularity of tapestries nowadays. I inherited numerous completed and uncompleted tapestries plus boxes of tapestry wool. The work is intricate, and I can still picture her working on the various patterns.
Today has, yet again, been a busy one with the plumber at last finishing off the bathroom, a new, bigger TV being installed in our family room (now I can see the tennis balls when watching my favourite sport!), and a new cowl being installed for our indoor braai.
Some relaxed retail therapy this afternoon where I bought a few items for the coming winter, followed by much cleaning and sorting of the outside cottage where hubby's sister and her hubby will be staying from tomorrow. They are looking forward having to warmer weather than the UK. It will be so good to see them again.
