As Harry would say....
This was the bestest day of my entire life, I shouldn't wonder!!!! The visit to St. Michael's Mount was sublime - we even met Lady Mary St. Aubyn as we were climbing up and she spoke to us and warned us of the steep climb. Perhaps we were showing our age!! It was heartwarming to hear that the St. Aubyn family live there 24/7 - it's their family home.
For starters, the sun shone but the wind was cool, so perfect for climbing up the Pilgrims' Steps at St. Michael's Mount. We left Marazion by 3pm, and since daylight saving has started, it was much too early to go back to the Airbnb - so we decided to head west, and went as far as the Lizard. Of which this is my main image.
The extras include a shot from St Michael's down across the Bay and you can see the submerged causeway snaking off on the right hand side of the picture.
An image looking back to St. Michael's showing the completely uncovered causeway.
A picture of a boat coming in to an exposed beach, where upon it grew wheels and because a truck once it hit dry land.
To top it all off - we actually saw a George clone who was a German Spitz, and we saw a Japanese Spitz, pure white and Wayne wants one.
Personally I could live here, but doubt we could afford a holiday shack in Marazion.
