First Spring Sunrise

The best day of the week, weatherwise, at least according to the forecast.  It was cold, ice had to be scraped from the car windscreen, but also calm so when I got to this spot the reflections were only mired by the odd water fowl crossing the canal.

Despite clouds on the eastern horizon, it was still quite colourful as the sun rose.

Later it was a walk to the gym for a swim, met up with L who had done pilates and we decided the weather was so good we would continue to exercise with a walk.  We again passed this point and then headed on along the cannock Extension Canal before linking onto the Timberland Trail before returning.
