Mind the tree

The next stage of building commenced and a load of wood was successfully delivered without demolishing the crabapple.
It was a beautiful day, though -2.7C this morning with ice on the pond, but I couldn't get to do anything in the garden because of the builders.
Instead I did jobs in the house where it was sunny, some general housework and some more knitting.
The evening run with the group was in the woods and round the reservoir in the sun.
