We met our ‘ Lunch Club’ friends today at a lovely little French restaurant in the Grass Market then afterwards I walked up to the high street and down past this gorgeous, regularly photographed street. As I took the photo a young man, also taking a photo, said to his friend’ I wonder how the people who live here feel about their houses being constantly photographed?’ You have to wonder.
