Surgery

Today I’ve been bringing life back into a battered hat. It proved to be a little more complex than I’d anticipated, so the client left it with me and I’ve removed the trim to best shape the crown and brim.

I was quite shocked to find that the original trim had been glued, and used 3 different blocks to recover the shape.

It’s now drying overnight, so should be ready by tomorrow
