Racing for shelter.

The firth was flat calm this morning, then about mid morning, the wind suddenly got up and the calm water started to boil. All of a sudden we spotted this little yacht called Tai Pan fighting to get to the shelter of the canal basin. I can only say, I'm glad I wasn't on board! It was getting tossed around every which way! One minute he was sitting with the bow 45 degrees in the air and the next it was disappearing below the waves as if heading for Davy Jones Locker! Then the bow was up again and then down. He was also being buffeted from side to side. He must have been a great sailor And he eventually made it to the basin. His engine must have been screeming at times fighting the tide! Not for me this.
