Rust Never Sleeps

I blipped this wall planter early on in my blip career, back in 2017. I commented then that it was rather weathered. It's rather more weathered now so just right for Tiny Tuesday, rust and peeling paint. It's meant to look like this of course, I love the colours.

Camera club was, well, riveting last night. I felt pretty despondent after failures in the first three sections, but in the last section the judge finally got his act together and awarded me a first place. I'd done some more work on this as per the extra. He said he didn't rate it at first, but it grew on him. I've had my best season so far, but I don't think I've done enough to win any trophies. It's not all over yet though as next week we have to submit entries for the annual competitions.

In other news we've spent some time on the phone sorting out eye appointments for mrsfb. She last saw someone back in February last year and should have had a follow up appointment in 6 months. She is on the NHS waiting list but it will be at least another 1-2 months before there is likely to be an appointment. We've now made a private appointment with the consultant for May. We could have got one next month but it was on a day we are away. If the NHS appointment comes in first we will go to that, but I doubt it somehow. If we do get one it probably won't be with the consultant himself, you always seem to get 'one of the team' which isn't always a great experience, especially when you have waited so long.
