Tiptoe through the buttercups...
First time since somewhere in the middle of last year that the Abergavenny Walking for Health group has been able to do the Castle Meadows walk. Even now, after quite a dry spell, there was one bit where the path was too muddy to pass and we had to take a detour. It just underlines how wet it has been. Anyway, it was good to be able to circumnavigate the meadows again. Here, you can see the tail end of the walk on a cycle track by the river Usk. Today the meadow is again a sea of yellow (see an earlier blip), but now it's buttercups instead of dandelions.
