I used to always carry a pad and a piece of paper with me but I have realised that the camera on my phone is so much more efficient at this type of task than writing multiple notes that get forgotten about as soon I you write them down. Although people must think you are a bit bonkers by taking random pictures of things out of magazines. Been trying to add a few non meat days into my family's dinners but getting a bit bored of the same old vegetarian fare and looking for a bit of inspiration. I want to cook real vegetarian food and not just put Quorn in my Bolognese instead of mince.

What a difference a wee shake up to the routine makes. I had been feeling quite unmotivated since Friday past due a particularly arduous RPM session where my legs totally gave up on me and for one of the first times in my life I thought that I wasn't going to make it through to the end of the class. I was starting to have some doubts and questioning my motives and reasons for all this training. Then, as if by magic, along came the Velodrome and my questions were all answered at the end of the 2 hour session when I was still fit enough to be flying along with my 3 team mates.  If it hadn't been for the 5am bike rides and runs in combination with my classes then I would have been huffing and puffing round the track by the end of the first hour. Now I am even more motivated than before. Kept my weights high in Pump this morning and pushed hard in RPM. I did use yesterday as a rest day instead of going for a run then on to Body Step so perhaps that is just what the doctor ordered.
