Abbotsbury Abbey
Abbotsbury sub tropical gardens just along the coast from last night’s campsite were recommended for a visit. It was raining and grey when we woke up. But we went anyway. It was dry as we walked around and the tropical bushes and plants were beautiful. We were disappointed that the Magnolia walk up to the view point over the coast was closed due to being wet muddy and slippery. Just our luck .
So no coastal views today but this view of the Abbey framed by tropical plants is observable from the garden.
Extra is a collage of some of the flowers, a Jeremy Fisher sculpture and rather bizarrely a kookaburra . In a cage.
There’s a rare blip from LooseCanon today. Featuring me!
