Glasgow, ain’t it grand

A long old journey on the train today, but relatively smooth given the state of our railway systems right now.

I was grateful to get checked in with time to spare before meeting Jane, so had a lovely little wander around the city. It’s such a great city, I just only wish it wasn’t such a grey day to be seeing it.

Met Jane and we had a lovely dinner in the cutest little Italian restaurant. It was a tad on the romantic side and so I apologised to Jane for not being her husband. I don’t think she was too bothered.

Meeting the other newbies in the morning ready for a minibus drive out to Dalmally to meet Magnus and see the shed where it all started. So excited!
