Two Thing

Two things about this photo. 

1. The male goldfinches are starting to get their bright yellow breeding plumage

2. The little character in the center is a chipping sparrow, which is a bird I don't often notice here in our yard. Like bluebirds, there are a gazillion of them up along Chapel Spring Lane, where we walk every morning, but very rarely are they right here at our house. So I was excited to see this one.

3. Okay - three things. I like the movement of the third bird (a goldfinch).
