Sad and annoyed

This was the sight through my eldest's bedroom window today. They appear to be progressing with the new housing development next door. Within 3 hours trees had gone. Sad to see it. So much wildlife lives in and uses this field. 
The noise was horrendous too. Made my work meetings difficult even with headphones. The next year may try my patience.
