How to launch your water taxi

A ride to Marahau today and a venue new to us for lunch which I found fine and with the views how can it be wrong.
Because the beach is a gentle shelf the water taxi's are tractored out into water deep enough for them to launch and recover. The kayaking tours go out the same way with the kayaks lashed to the stern.
The view was too good to not include even though there was a haze across the bay.
Out in the Cook Strait the ferries had been kept in port due to 6 and 7 metre swells but looking into the bay you would not think so.
The day looked beautiful but there was a chill on the breeze.
