Cross country

Went up to London first thing, spent about 20 mins in the office and then the Head of Development and I went to have lunch near Newbury with a Major Novelist who I’d met before when we held rights in one of his books.  We’re talking about another project and it was lovely to see him again, post pandemic. A little older but more relaxed in some way. 

After lunch I tacked my way back across country on small trains arriving home nice and early.  Which was more relaxing except that we’re still trying to build this cast up so it’s getting extremely stressful!
