Wood of Cree

A lovely day today at Wood of Cree with the Dunscore Birdwatching Group. The bluebells, primroses and violets were out and the oak trees just opening their leaves. Birdsong everywhere, and Colin can match the calls to the birds. I am going to try to learn some of them myself.. Highlight of the day for me was watching a tree pipit displaying, flying up and then parachuting back down onto a telephone wire. Here is Pam resting on a fallen branch.
