Fav Curlew...

My fav curlew is back! I saw her today in her usual field with her mate. She's got a broken right leg & has been like this for at least 7 years. Amazing! She flies very well, but when walking, she is slow & doesn't go very far... Last year I first saw her about 2 weeks earlier than this year. I was convinced she had perished...but no, she's survived another winter! :)
