Farmer’s Draughts?

Out on the bike today near Forteviot just south of Perth. Came across this scene at the side of one field and somehow imagined they were like pieces of a giant set of draughts. Humour me.
The sky is completely fake - I just wanted to cheer things up a bit on a pretty dull day.
