Scattered showers

I managed to finish with the ISCED this evening. Maybe I can finish this batch without going completely barking mad. Earlier on I took a break from reading and went to see how the onions are progressing. As I hoped the lads are well over half way now. I pulled out quite a few handfuls of ryegrass with its roots this morning before leaving them to it. I can guarantee that it's not the last I have seen of ryegrass there but considering it hasn't seen weedkiller for about 5 years (before we started on this patch of ground), it's pretty good. We have layed out some hosepipe ready for the next phase. I'll have to buy some connectors.

The dogs managed to get their teeth into each other before lunch which delayed things a little. Pushkin and Kajtek both have a few cut and scratches, fortunately that's all. Lucky and Muttley disengage when shouted at but the small ones are deafened by their stupidity.

This evening I thought we might have had a few spots of rain. Looking round the horizon from the field I could see it was raining in several far away directions.
