Make Mine A Double

Today was all about Richard. 

My good friend from the bank. 

In the twenty three years I have known him, he has cared for, and lost his mum, dad, father in law and his own wife. He continues to care for his wife's 95 year old mother although she lives in a different county. 

He is a quiet unassuming man with a gentle sense of humour and a very balanced view of life and humanity.

A good man, a good friend.

He came to visit and we treated him to a meal at the pub. He thoroughly enjoyed his time and his mid-day meal. I was only too glad to  treat him. He deserves it.
