I Got Flowers!

Today the people staying at the lodge allowed us in to oversee the delivery and installation of the new dishwasher. I always hate having to ask for access during an occupied week but few tradesmen want to work on Saturdays. In any case, no one wants to be without a dishwasher when on holiday.

Thankfully, we'd been kind to these people by giving them a week in spring to compensate for them having to cancel in November due to illness. They were too late to get a refulnd from the booking agency, so they assumed they'd lost their holiday.

Anyhow, when we arrived I noticed a bouquet and a gift pack of Mrs Bridges Preserves with a note thanking us. That was nice of them!
