Flooded

After a busy but ultimately successful working day, I (Chris) dashed across town to get a haircut. It was grey and very overcast but I had a walk after the cut to get the steps in.

Annie has been in Swindon with colleagues for two days. Yesterday her meeting was interrupted by a large number of armed police entering the hotel they were using. They were looking for two fugitives from a shooting elsewhere in the town a couple of days earlier but didn't find them and moved on. It was one of the more unusual ends to their management meetings. Thankfully today was less eventful.
