A week later...

To Holmfirth this morning for a last visit to the bungalow before we (hopefully) move in. Could be a while yet! But first a detour to Tom's house with the birthday card that I forgot to take with me last night.

Photos taken at the bungalow, and measurements recorded - yes, the freezer will fit into the space available. Before leaving, a good look at the garden. Then into the centre of Holmfirth in search of coffee and a light lunch - my panini was delicious, but much more substantial than anticipated! And MrM's pea soup with a pork pie in it (yes, really...) was anything but light!

Then on to Cleckheaton to visit Chris and Mike, who have kindly agreed to have the container plants  from our 'yard in their garden until we can move them to Holmfirth. MrM unloaded the first lot. We stayed a while chatting and drinking tea before setting off back home through the Dales. But the weather was far too dreich for good views, so it didn't take long to decide to return via the A1 instead.

Home with no Blip, so it's another photo of the Mothers' Day flowers looking even better than they did a week ago.
