Still Lounging About...

..with Maggie the cat....She is a good buddy.. we share the sofa a lot these days...

I am feeling somewhat better - just doing the "puffers and allergy meds" routine has helped...The lung x-ray results came today - bronchitis. Whew.. a relief that it was not pneumonia; it has been before, but not this time! I see the doctor tomorrow for a consult...

Not much happening here other than me trying to rest up...I am not even getting any reading done.... am just doing essential errands, mentally sorting out what to pack, doing some Duolingual (but making a lot of mistakes!) and watching a bit of TV..which has not been very uplifting -  the protests in France are rather disconcerting...and of course there was yet another school shooting in the USA. Horrendous! Best to leave the TV turned off...

PS: A note for those interested in the woes of my friend Noreen, of Canceled-Dinner fame...She had a big dinner planned for this Friday - a dinner to make up for the Christmas and the After-Christmas dinners that didn't happen -  the ones she had to cancel due to Covid.....Well, I just got a call that she now has to cancel Friday too!  She is experiencing some health issues and having diagnostic tests done...the results of which we anxiously await news...On top of that, believe it or not, one invited guest has come down with Covid! Noreen's never-ending dinner plans are becoming rather legendary in our circle of friends......we continue to enter the dates into our calendars but we now do it in pencil! 

Time to nap..again...but at least I blipped!
