Yesterday morning l went down into town with my photography group to the Wallace Collection mainly to photograph the armoury.  It was almost impossible; the room was very dark with lights shining on the metal work causing way too many reflections.
When l left and wandered back to the tube station l passed by the department store Selfridges and there in the window was a display of shoes and clothes belonging to Elton John.   It apparently was the 50th anniversary of his album Honky Chateau.
