Planting a hedge

This is my new hedge at the bottom of the garden. It's going to be made up of mixed shrubs; some evergreen, some deciduous.

The plan is to soften off and cover the fence but to also increase the habitat for wildlife and make a stopping off point for the birds visiting the bird table.

I've had these plants since just after Christmas and have only just got round to planting them this afternoon!! I can't blame the snow all of the time.
