Breakthrough

Left Murnau with the rain tipping down, really dodgy driving conditions; half-way to Weilheim and it eased off, back home and what do you know but the sky started to clear. An hour after
I took this there wasn’t a cloud in the sky - but admittedly it was starting to get a bit parky!
Spent the morning doing some shopping, some washing and lots of spider hoovering. I’m quite happy for their bug control activities while the flat is empty but they really were messy eaters so now a new generation can take over. Then it was off to see S’s mum in Murnau and see what jobs she had for me. Nothing too onerous happily, just running her here and there next week so that’s fine. We yacked away for ages - she’s quite forgiving of my pidgin German - and worked out a schedule. It’s fine.
Surprises today: no internet connection the entire day, now fixed I hope; lots of TV channels vanished so had to reset the Cable service from scratch (channel re-numbering can wait for another day though); the price of petrol - €1.89 a litre - is outrageous.
