Floor-sanding

My kind friend/landlady drove me to the tool hire place for 8 this morning only for us to be told that the person delivering the two sanders and all the sanding sheets (I wasn't expecting delivery) had already set off with them. The hire people were very laid back about it and phoned him to ask him to wait and we chased after him. 

Of course I forgot to take a 'before' picture so this is three hours in, when about a century of grime is already in the sanding bags. Roughly another 60 years to go. This is heavy work - I am reinforced in my belief that builders deserve those breaks they are so mocked for.
