Bye bye, Pip

It was time to say goodbye to Pip today. Eldest surprised us and insisted on coming to mum's and to the vets. The whole experience at the vets was calm, gentle but ultimately bloody horrible. Mum got through it though and she brought Pip home with her. He has a wee resting place in the garden where she can remember him. We asked her to come and stay with us tonight but she wanted time by herself which I understand. She'll come over tomorrow though and hopefully my boys will be able to cheer her up a bit with their nonsense.
