Glass Apple.
At last we woke to a cloudless sky and sun. Quickly mobilizing we took Spike for his favorite walk. The pond in the meadow at the top of the hill was full to overflowing and I took this photo of the sedge poking up through the reflections. As I sat down to write this I noticed a truly minimalist shot right in front of me on the bookshelf, so I have relegated to pond to extras and put up the glass apple. I'll leave it up to the viewer to decide.
I have finished the body of the heart quilt, but got bogged down on trying to decide on a border so have left it until tomorrow. The clouds have been pretty today...big and puffy white, but with some ominous dark layers. However it has stayed dry today for which we're grateful as things were beginning to get positively moldy. It is still really cold, the temperatures hovering around 45F/7C all day, which is pretty cold in the shade or when the brisk wind comes up.
My computer has just reminded me that the battery is almost spent and I don't have much to add anyway so I'll go plug it in before it gives up on me.
