Endictment!

31st March 2023 – A date that will go down in history (or was it the 30th in the US?).

Anyway, at last it's happened. Maybe a bit like Al Capone who was brought to justice because of tax irregularities, Donald Trump will be indicted because of a hush-money payment. But who knows, now that Alvin Bragg has bitten the indictment bullet, maybe there'll be still more to come. There are still other investigations which could result in further indictments – the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, election interference in Georgia, the Trump Organisation in New York, responsibility for the attack on the Capitol.

Just after midnight I was checking to see if anything new had been added to one of my music streaming services when an alert popped up with the news of the Manhattan Grand Jury having voted for indictment, so I checked lots of news sites and snapped the headlines from my computer monitor. A montage seemed to be the appropriate way to go when it came to a blip.

History in the making indeed.
