Middle Earth & Smash Palace

Our trip from Whanganui to Taupo along SH4 and 47 was uneventful if you can call the scenery, waterfalls, road slips and mountains uneventful. My main Blip had to be Mount Ruapehu.

My extra is of Smash Palace at Horopito. I have seen this on TV, online and from the train. I've even been outside the gates when it was shut. This time I managed to get inside and track down some Morris Minors. MrsS gave me a time limit... ;o)

It has been another lovely day but it might be a bit wet tomorrow. Either way I will try and get some interesting images of Taupo to share with you.
