Cherry Blossom

I have a small ornamental cherry tree in the garden. It's inconspicuous most of the year because it's a bit dull and is tucked away beside a garden hut. This is its time though and it's worth a scramble to blip the pretty blossom. Flower Friday with thanks to BikerBear.

What a great time last night. There were 10 of us at our friend's house. Some of us had cooked, or baked or, in my case, bought some cheese. We had wonderful homemade dips to start, a choice of three main courses then apple crumble with ice cream and bramble coulis followed by cheese. If only blipper Mima lived locally that could have been homemade too.

Today is a day of preparation for a trip tomorrow. The weather forecast for the west coast looks unsettled but we have waterproofs.
