Alpine

Not sure exactly what this flower is but it's the first of many that look as though they will bloom shortly in a stone trough of 'Alpines' by my back door.  I'm glad to see they've survived the winter.

When I booked the holiday to Berlin a couple of days ago I used my credit card rather than the debit card, as I know it affords extra protection should something go wrong.  I completely forgot about it adding currency charges, which I could have avoided completely if I used the debit card.  The flights were OK as they were paid for in sterling but I got stung with a currency charge of nearly £28 for the hotel.  I won't make that mistake again!
