Driech, Lunch, A dilema?!

It's been a bit of a driech day. I went to 'Morningside Park' for my morning walk and then Ann went to work. Her first job was going to the bank and despite being really warm on my 'first thing in the morning' walk, it was very, very cold.

It was cold when she walked the 5 mins home and it was cold when she took me out this afternoon. And foggy................ we've had no view out of the window today. We can't even see the hills. (see extras).

Ann's friend, Fiona, had dropped her car off at 'KwikFit' (for a minor problem) but KwikFit as usual was very busy so she popped into 'Wilkies' to see Ann at work and when Ann finished at 1.30pm they came back here for bacon rolls. Yum, yum! I jumped up onto the sofa with Fiona in the hope of getting some little titbits, but nobody fed me anything. Booohooo!

As for the dilema?......................... My human has two build in wardrobes in her bedroom and she has decided to 'shelve' one of them so that she has room to store stuff. Rather than pay someone a fortune to build us shelves, she has just ordered two shelving units from Amazon which will fit the space perfectly. First shelving unit arrived about 10 days ago. Ann built it and it's fabulous. 2nd shelving unit was due to arrive at the weekend and after 'tracking' it. 'EVRI' said it had arrived at 6.25pm on Sunday. Well, as those of you who read our BLIPs regularly will know; Ann tested positive for COVID on Sunday, so apart from my morning walk, she was in ALL DAY on Sunday and EVRI most definitely DID NOT attempt to deliver our shelving unit!!!

Long story short............................ Ann contacted the seller and they arranged for another shelving unit to be sent to us, which arrived yesterday evening. #fabulousservice

However, this evening there was a buzz on our intercom and a very nice guy (who lives in the block of flats next to us) arrived at our door with the original shelving unit, which he said had just been 'dumped' there...............

So now we have a dilemma?.......................... we don't actually want two shelving units so should we?............................

Contact the seller and tell them we now have two shelving units and wait for them to send someone to pick it up.
Keep it (but we don't actually want it).
Sell it on (not sure how to do this?)
Let all our friends/family know that we have a brand new shelving unit going free and give it to whoever wants it?
Donate it to a charity.

What would you do??????????????????????

An evening infront of 'soaps' beckons. #weknowhowtolive.
