Day two in the sunshine state of Glasgow. The good folk in the west of Scotland are always on sun-shine alert: the merest hint of a blue sky and the flip-flops and vests are broken out. And in the winter, the spray tan shops make a fortune...

My first email of the day was from an eminent Blipper who, in her usual modest fashion, was casually alerting me that her photographic exhibition was listed in the NY Times 'what's on' section. R E S P E C T!!

Tomorrow is the last day of my course - and an exam! Pah - what a chore...
