"The Blue Bells of Scotland"

Delighted to see these bluebells in the garden today, first of the season. 
However we have a love/hate relationship with them. 
They are a cross between wild bluebells and Spanish bluebells. 
 
The latter were planted en masse by the original owners of our house over fifty years ago and they are now an invasive species and we struggle each year to get rid of them.
