Day 22 of DDW's May daily challenge - Abstract

My ARPS panel that I am preparing could very easily be described as abstract, but I couldn't just use one of those images under blip rules, and taking a photo of the prints wouldn't necessarily do it justice, so a completely new image for you.

I placed a cotton reel on my light box, camera on tripod with extension tubes to get a nice full frame image. Being so close meant that I had hardly any depth of field, so a focus stack of 10 images to give sharpness across the entire reel end. Then it was "treated" in Nik ColorEfex to add a little wackiness. Or maybe it was just chemically enhanced somehow!!!!

I had a little "accident" at lunchtime, which will result in an expensive lunchtime tomorrow, but it will be worth it. It doesn't fit with tomorrows theme of rusty (which could feature my car as it qualifies for that quite well), but all will be revealed soon.
