Luke 10: 30-37

Not that I've embraced religion, but I took a walk up to the Assembly Hall on the Mound where the Church of Scotland is holding its General Assembly this week. I was hoping to see a large number of ministers and assorted dominies in the courtyard and photograph them, but none to be seen.

There was however at the bottom of the entrance stairs this black labrador tied up and apparently abandoned and, not unsurprisingly, keen to make friends with anyone who passed. The gentleman in the feathered stetson wasn't interested. Presumably important church business to attend to. The dog was still there when I left - waiting on salvation.
