First jam of 2013

After invigilating this morning I took my new varifocal lensed glasses back. I know they take longer than 48hrs to get used to, but I felt that unless my eye sight changed drastically over the next 7 days, they were never going to help.

At first the assistant was about to tell me to try again, but when she checked them she agreed that there was something wrong with the measurements, so they've gone back to be altered.

Back at home I got on with my jam making and finished that about 4pm. I had about an hour before the quiz programme I like to see started, so I popped out to clean out the guinea pigs. I somehow sidled into doing a few bits and bobs in the garden - 3hrs later I was still at it!

Am now fed and watered, having a quick blip and then off to bed as have a full days invigilating tomorrow. Will catch up with your journals later. TTFN!
